The Department of Mathematics of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is organising the 8th MATH@NTUA summer school titled

“Algebra: classic topics and current trends”

The summer school will take place from 30 June to 4 July 2025 at the Zografou Campus of the NTUA in Athens, Greece. The targeted audience is senior undergraduate, MSc and PhD students, postdoctoral researchers interested in algebra.

A first main part of the school consists of a number of mini-courses that will be offered by

  • John C. Baez, Department of Mathematics, University of California at Riverside, United States of America
  • Răzvan Diaconescu, Simion Stoilow Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Romania
  • Cédric Lecouvey, Institut Denis Poisson, Université de Tours, France
  • Götz Pfeiffer, Department of Mathematics, University of Galway, Ireland
