The Department of Mathematics of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences in the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is organizing the 5th MATH@NTUA summer school titled
Mathematics of Machine and Statistical Learning
The school will take place from 19 to 23 June 2023 at the Zografou Campus of the NTUA in Athens, Greece. The targeted audience is senior undergraduate, MSc and PhD students interested in the mathematical aspects of machine and statistical learning.
The school consists of four mini-courses that will be given by
- Constantine Caramanis (University of Texas, Austin, Archimedes research unit)
- Daniele Durante (Universitá Bocconi, Milano, Italy)
- Panayotis Mertikopoulos (University of Athens, Archimedes research unit)
- Konstantinos Spiliopoulos (Boston University, USA)
The lectures will be complemented by daily hands-on programming seminars by Costas Smaragdakis (NTUA and U. of Crete, Greece).
The language of the summer school is English. There is no registration fee, however the number of participants is limited. Please apply by 4 June 2023 following the instructions in the registration page. We regret we cannot offer assistance with visa arrangements.
